Project Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Responsible for administering and routing of contract documents during the design and construction phase of project, assists the Project Manager during all aspects of the project design, bid, and construction phases of a project or group of projects
- Capable of performing with little supervision. Fully knowledgeable of company standards, plans
and specifications; capable of interpreting project plans; direct client contact; ability to supervise
other administrative staff - Demonstrated familiarity with various common project conditions, problems encountered in
assignments, and proper procedures for rectification. Able to manage client-contractor-Project Manager liaison - Carries out recurring office procedures independently; schedules meetings and communicates
effectively with the client, the Contractor, the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and
Construction Observer - May prepare and sign routine, non-technical correspondence in own or Project Manager’s name; schedules tentative appointments without prior clearance; makes arrangement for conferences and meetings and assembles established background materials, as directed; collects information for routine inquiries or periodic reports; refers non-routine request to Project Manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience
- Min 2-3 years office administration/project coordination experience
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, interact, and complete duties under deadlines
- Excellent communications skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must be organized and able to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent project management, task management, follow-up and follow-through
