DCS is incredibly proud to sponsor the Rotary Club of Pflugerville. The company’s esteemed representatives, Muhammad Musa, PhD., PE (TX, AZ), PTOE, VP of Traffic & Transportation, and Project Manager Peter Kovlakas, were present at the event to show their support.
The Rotary Club awarded $25,000 in scholarships to deserving graduates from various high schools, including seven recipients from Pflugerville HS, three from Weiss HS, and two from Hendrickson HS. The ceremony was filled with excitement and joy, featuring delicious food, proud parents, enthusiastic students, engaged citizens, and dedicated Rotary Club members. Notable attendees included City Manager Sereniah Breland, Mayor-Pro-Tem Doug Weiss, Council member Rudy Metayer, and Jim McDonald.
Casey Nall, the President of the Rotary Club of Pflugerville, had the honor of distributing the well-deserved awards. Boyd Hemphill, past president of the club, and Shannon Coleman, the Club District Governor for District 5870 delivered keynote speeches, encouraging the attentive audience to “Go Change the World”.
