Full Service Civil Engineering

DCS is an established full service civil engineering consulting firm offering expertise focused on traffic, transportation, water and wastewater treatment facilities, municipal and industrial site civil, drainage and construction management.

History & Experience

Humble Beginnings & Highly Experienced

Our founder and CEO Darren Strozewski began DCS by designing a relatively small, but important biosolids composting facility in a small town outside of Austin, Texas. Over the years DCS has grown and accumulated experience in water and wastewater treatment, collection and distribution, transportation, master planning and more. However, what hasn’t changed since day one is our commitment to sustainable engineering excellence in every project big and small.

Education

We believe that education has the power to change lives and improve communities. Through our support programs, we provide resources that promote educational opportunities in needy communities. Click below to read more about the projects and partners that we’ve chosen to support this mission.

Mother Mary Primary School

Mother Mary Primary School provides holistic training based on ethical Christian principles, preparing children for a dynamic society and a better future. In 2020 the school opened its doors to 208 boarding and day scholars, and today it serves 307 students, employing 34 staff and faculty members who are committed to serve the educational needs of their students.  Principal Asiimwe Collins has designed a rigorous program for this age group with a system of tests, exams, progress evaluations, and regional academic competitions. The school’s first candidates will sit for national exams in October of 2023.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School

In 2002, DCS helped fund STAHS, an esteemed institution in Western Uganda and the local high school which receives students from MMPS. Graduates of STAHS have advanced to become doctors and nurses, engineers, architects, librarians and teachers, with some returning after graduation to teach at their alma mater. Together, these schools set the stage to improve livelihoods and promote a culture of prosperity and hope within their community. DCS is committed to continued support, helping these schools reach their educational goals.

Clean Water

As an engineering firm, we understand the importance of clean water, especially to underserved communities. Click below to read more about the projects and partners that we’ve chosen to support this mission.

Water for People

DCS supports Water For People (waterforpeople.org) through our partnership with the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT) and their annual “PINTS FOR PEOPLE” events. Water for People is a global non-profit that was founded in 1991. Water for People strives to empower local governments, community members, and service providers to invest in long-term water delivery solutions and systems that fit the needs of the communities that they serve.
