DCS staff are actively involved in the communities where we live and serve. On February 8, 2023, we attended the Business Pfirst Luncheon in Pflugerville TX, hosted by the Pflugerville Economic Development Corporation. The luncheon featured an exciting array of Panelists: Aaron Demerson with Employees for the Texas Workforce Commission, Tom Stellman, CEO and Founder of TIP Strategies, Ed Latson, Founder and Executive Director for ARMA (The Austin Regional Manufacturers Association), and event moderator Amy Madison CECD, EDFP, CPM and Executive Director at Pflugerville Community Development Corporation.
Panelists discussed workforce trends, challenges and innovation within the area, and enlightened the audience about current economic development efforts in Pflugerville, TX, the third fastest growth city in America!
