Texas Water Utilities contracted DCS to design the expansion of the Camp Swift Wastewater Treatment Plant serving Bastrop County residential areas, Texas Army National Guard and MD Anderson Research Center. The design includes reusing two existing circular concrete and clarification basins and reusing one rectangular concrete basin. These structures date to the 1940s and are remnants of Camp Swift’s World War II legacy, when the installation supported tens of thousands of Army personnel.
