A new milestone for Pflugerville!
The Pflugerville Community Development Corp. (PCDC) celebrated the official ribbon-cutting for the Helios Way Expansion designed by DCS on August 4th. This important infrastructure investment strengthens regional connectivity, supports local businesses, and creates new opportunities for long-term economic growth.
The project adds a new right-in, right-out driveway connecting Helios Way to the SH 130 frontage road, along with the final phase of Impact Way. By giving commercial trucks and workforce traffic an alternate route, the expansion eases congestion at the busy Pecan Street and Impact Way intersection and helps traffic move more safely and efficiently. It also opens approximately 146 acres for future industrial and commercial development.
PCDC Board President Darelle White noted that the project reflects the community’s commitment to attracting business investment and supporting job growth.
Thank you Mayor Doug Weiss, City Council, PCDC leadership, and Patin Construction LLC for helping deliver this project. Together, our work supports a more resilient, accessible, and prosperous Pflugerville.
