Design and Construction Services for a Wastewater Treatment Plant

The City of Blanco contracted DCS to design and construct a conventional wastewater treatment plant with improved treatment and an enhanced capacity of 0.225 Million Gallons per Day (MGD), replacing an existing natural lagoon-based treatment plant.

To maximize the usage of the site and allow for future expansion, DCS employed efficient design philosophies to repurpose existing structures, allowing the City to accept septic, providing greater flexibility, and increasing revenue generation.

DCS also generated a Lagoon Closure Plan to formally decommission the existing treatment lagoons onsite.
