Wastewater Interceptor

This project includes preliminary and final design to construct a 16,000 ft long, 42” diameter wastewater interceptor to serve the projected growth of the city along the State Highway 130 corridor. The engineering process included flow analysis with projections to evaluate the wastewater interceptor sizing and ultimate service area. Project included open cut installation to a depth of 45 ft and tunneling from 45 to 70 ft depths; bore and jack for a sanitary sewer under a state highway and the demolition of two existing lift stations. Work includes surveying, preliminary studies (i.e. environmental, geotechnical, traffic control plan, hydraulic & hydrology/floodplain delineation), design (civil, structural, electrical), bidding, and construction administration.
